Mark Clark [00:00:03]:
Let me start out this way. So when I was. When I was a little kid, I was probably eight years old, when the first person that I really loved and knew died. It was my aunt. Remember that person that you. The first person you knew that died and you felt close to them. They were a family member. And it was my first funeral.
Mark Clark [00:00:24]:
And I walked into the funeral, and my uncle was there, and he was always kind of a goofy guy, like a clown, a bit of a. It's always kind of funny. And I remember walking into this funeral, and everyone was super heavy and mourning. And I walked in and he looked at me and my brother and my two cousins, and he just did that classic thing where he, like, pulled a coin out from behind my ear or something. And then he told some silly joke, and we all started laughing. And then I, as a little kid, for the first time, was like, well, that's not right. It's not right to be laughing in the middle of this mourning moment. And it was the first time in my life I felt, like, that tension of the emotion of feeling something so heavy and dark and mourning and having a little piece of hope crack through and living in the tension of those two things at the same time.
Mark Clark [00:01:22]:
That's what this moment is. It's the heaviness of knowing that this thing happened. This assassination of Charlie Kirk, the shootings, the school shootings, the things in the trains. And we come here and we're heavy. And some of you, you don't maybe come to church very often, but you got all these, like, massive questions like how and why. And I don't blame you for those questions. Those are heavy. This is a moment that's like, I don't understand why God would allow all these massive questions.
Mark Clark [00:01:55]:
And we all have them, and I have them. And the Bible doesn't, like, sit and give us a whole bunch of I'm gonna tell you every single moment and why everything happens in life. It does give us this big picture. In Romans, chapter 8, it says, we know that the whole creation's been groaning right up to the present time. And not only so, but we ourselves groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope, we were saved. It's like the reason you groan, the reason you feel this, is because you're waiting for heaven to be real in your life. And so you know that something is cracked.
Mark Clark [00:02:33]:
You feel the evil and the sin, and the world is not the way it's supposed to be. And the Bible gives this great answer better than any other Worldview can give you and goes, it's because you're groaning for heaven. And some of you right now, you don't necessarily know how to get there or haven't really made the decision to say, okay. The Bible lays out this way of getting there and I wanna go there. So when I was. We were starting our church in Vancouver a few years ago and one of our core team members, her mother passed away. And I remember I was sitting with her and I was like, I don't know what to say to her. And I remember looking at me with just like, just this steel in her spine.
Mark Clark [00:03:14]:
And she looked at me and she just said that. She said, well, I know you're awkward hanging out with me right now because my mom just died. But here's the thing. Do we believe what we believe or do we not believe what we believe? And if we believe what we believe, here's the reality. My mom is more alive than she's ever been in her life right now because she's in glory with Jesus. She is in heaven. And this is why Jesus, when he walks up to the tomb of Lazarus, even though he's weeping, he also says, this is gonna be used for the glory of God. This is gonna be used, he says, for the glory of God.
Mark Clark [00:03:49]:
In John, chapter 11, verse 40. It's a beautiful. And I was speaking at this young adult thing Yesterday and this 22 year old kid walked up to me and he just said, how. Cause I spoke about trying to remain hopeful. And he said, how is it possible to remain hopeful? How is it possible to keep hoping? And it's passages like that that you have to have in your mind to go, this is the reason, I hope, this is the reason I can wake up in the morning and find the hope of Jesus. Because there's a world coming that's gonna be birthed that's better than anything you've ever experienced. And this is as bad as it gets. If you know Jesus, it's a beautiful thing.
Mark Clark [00:04:25]:
Actually, if you've ever come to one of our Christmas Eve services, I love to tell the story about Charlie Brown, the Charlie Brown Christmas, you know, and Linus and he's got his little. His little Linus Bl. Because some of you here, you're right now, you're filled with anxiety and fear and that was Linus life. If you know anything about Charlie Brown, he's the kid who's always scared and he carries his blanket around to keep him comfortable. But then he walks out on the stage and someone says, what is you know, Charlie Brown, what is Christmas all about? And he walks out on stage and he's holding this blanket, and he starts to recite the Christmas story to all these people. And then when it gets to the part where the angel says, fear not, he drops his blanket. And Charles Schulz, who's the writer of Charlie Brown, who's a believer in Jesus, he was trying to tell us something. And he was trying to say this.
Mark Clark [00:05:13]:
If everything that you believe about Jesus actually is true, like, it's not a story. Like, he actually lived and he really died on a cross for your sin. And he really rose from death. And guess what? You don't need to be afraid anymore. Cause he's got you. And this is what the Apostle Paul As a church, we're going through the book of Ephesians, and in this passage, I couldn't help but see some of the things that we felt this week. Ephesians, chapter four. Where we are in the series is verse 17.
Mark Clark [00:05:49]:
And some of the things that he talks about weave their way through. He says in verse 17, I tell you this and insist on it in the Lord that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do. He's trying to move us. I mean, the word Gentiles, ancient word, like, it's like, do not live like the culture that you're born into before people know Christ. I don't want you to live like that any longer. I don't want you to live like the Canadians do. Right? That's what he's trying to say. I don't want you to live like them because they don't know Jesus.
Mark Clark [00:06:24]:
They live a life. And this is what's cool about. About Christianity, though, if you're exploring it. What I love about what he's saying here is he's saying that Christianity is more than just a belief system where you believe some different things about God and heaven and hell and the Bible and Jesus. It's actually a way of living. It's beyond a belief system. It's actually a way of. It's how you live.
Mark Clark [00:06:45]:
It's how you relate to money and your sex life and what you do with your time and what you do with your work and what you do with your anger. All of this is your whole life. That Christianity, listen to me, it's very important, is not a hobby. It's not something that you just believe and put on the shelf and bring it out for the Sunday service and then go and eat your little lunch and have a good time with your friends and Move on with your life and watch football or whatever you guys do down here in America. All right? Whatever it is, he's going, this is a holistic way to live. Meaning if you go read the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus just preaches for an hour on how to live, not just what you believe, but how you treat people. If someone has wronged you, he says, you know what I don't want you to do? If you think about someone right now in your mind that wronged you, someone who did something, that aunt, that cousin, that friend of yours who backstabbed you, whatever it is right now, think of that person. I know you all have them.
Mark Clark [00:07:48]:
And here's what Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount. It's fascinating. He says, you know what I don't want you to do? I don't want you to come to church and do your worship songs. I want you first to go back to that person and reconcile with them and then come and bring your offering to God. Isn't that amazing? Jesus lays out this way of living. He's like, I'm not just talking about some little thing, belief system. I'm talking about a way of life. I'm talking about when you get angry at somebody.
Mark Clark [00:08:17]:
He goes, here's what I want to happen. If someone slaps you on the right cheek, what does he say? Hit them back? Kill them because they disagree with you? No, he says, turn the other cheek. Start a podcast, debate ideas. Don't live a life of violence, because that's not the way to be truly human. That's not the kingdom of God way. That's the kingdom of the world's way. That's how the Gentiles live. That's how people who haven't met God resolve their problems in the world and man.
Mark Clark [00:08:57]:
I became a Christian when I was 18, and I had a dad who divorced my mom when I was 9, and he died when I was 15 years old. And my whole life when I would talk about him, I would resent him, and I would just say, my dad left me when I was 9 years old, and he died when I was 15. And he never even had the guts to call me, by the way, to tell me he was dying. He was 47 years old. He was two years older than I am right now, and he died. And he never called me to tell me about it so I could say goodbye to him. And I wore that for a long time until Jesus just a couple years ago, started to speak into my life and go, you know what? You gotta forgive this Guy, you keep showing up to church and preaching to all these nice people, telling them what to do. Isn't that nice? What a great job you have.
Mark Clark [00:09:54]:
Tell everybody what to do all the time. They sit and they listen to you and they change your life. And here you are. You can't even forgive your own father. You gotta read the Sermon on the Mount again, friend. I need you to forgive him. Because you don't know what was going on in his life. Maybe he didn't want to put the burden on you after having not seen you for years and years and years.
Mark Clark [00:10:15]:
There are things, there's ways of living. This is what's so beautiful about Jesus. Now, if you're new to Christianity or you're exploring, I'm not going to say this is easy. Jesus, the way of life that he talks about, to not live like the Gentiles, It's. Which one's easier, to live like the Gentiles or to live like Jesus? Gentiles. Way easier, right? Way easier. It's easy to fall into the rhythm of the crowd, right? So I remember a bunch of years ago when I was still living in Vancouver, it was a Saturday night, so I was sitting in my bedroom, I was working on my sermon. I had to preach the next morning.
Mark Clark [00:10:52]:
And it was like. It was like 11, 12 at night, and there was just this, like, party that was going on right beside my house. And it was like two doors down, and it was so loud that the music was just like, boom, boom, boom, boom. And I could just hear all these people, and there's people all outside. It was like, crazy. So I texted my two friends, Anthony and Jordan. I said, hey, guys, listen, I'm trying to work here. I need you to go over and shut this party down.
Mark Clark [00:11:18]:
I need you to tell these people to shut up, all right? The work of the Lord is happening here and I need to do it, all right? Shut these drunk fucking. So they said, okay, we're on it. All right? We had a little gang, you know, we would deal with stuff like this called the Karens or whatever. I don't know what it's called, but anyways, so I was like, no fun for you. Give me that baseball. All right? So I just thought of that. That's kind of funny. So anyway, they said, we're on it, Mark.
Mark Clark [00:11:54]:
And so half hour goes by, boom, boom, boom, boom. An hour goes by, boom, boom, boom. And I literally, I remember I texted them, I said, guys, what is going on over there? What are you guys doing? And they sent me a selfie of them two in the party with everybody going, ah. I'm like, what the, What a bunch of losers. Cause here's the thing, it's way easier to join the party. It's way easier to join the ways of the world. It's way easier to live as the Gentiles live. It's just a natural part of your default setting.
Mark Clark [00:12:36]:
You are born into a setting of sin. And then he says, listen, the Gentiles, or the way that you live before you know Jesus, there is a futility in their what thinking. And they're darkened in their what understanding. See, here's what he's doing. This is the opposite to how people talk about Christianity, how they talk about Christianity as if it's for dumb people, silly people. You know, belief in God is for silly people. But then if you get educated, you don't believe in God anymore. And what he just said is, no, no, no.
Mark Clark [00:13:07]:
This is about the life of the mind. This is about how you think. You know, why you have a sin problem? Because you have a thinking problem, you have a mind problem, you have an understanding problem. You haven't been enlightened to the of Jesus yet. And that is your fundamental problem is in your mind, the life of the mind. And this is why the tide. Here's a beautiful thing about what we're seeing in this cultural moment. I'll talk about this a couple times.
Mark Clark [00:13:31]:
Listen, we're seeing a shift happen with the whole old school narrative that if you're a dumb person, you believe in God, but if you're a smart person, even on college campuses, people are starting to come to know Jesus on college campuses in droves. Even here at our church, there's a movement among young adults. We got 3, 400 young adults coming to our ministry. We got kids on TikTok even after the events of this week saying, listen, I was an atheist, I didn't want anything to do with Jesus. But now I've seen this, I wanna read the Bible and figure out what this Jesus thing is all about. There is a movement afoot, and here's what it is. It starts with the life of the mind. You don't need to retire your brain.
Mark Clark [00:14:13]:
You don't need to stop thinking. Christianity comes along and goes, no, no, no, listen. I did young adult ministry when I started out as a pastor for six years of my life. And the reason I hung out with young adults is because I realized one thing. If there is going to be a movement of God in this generation, it's gonna be among them. And there's something happening right now. And you know why it's gonna be among them? Because they don't have anything to lose. Like you with your mortgage and your job and all the stuff you got all set up.
Mark Clark [00:14:46]:
They don't have any of that, and they don't care. So they'll listen to the voice of God. Because here's the generational shift that's happening. There's a whole bunch of university students and college kids realizing you don't have to abandon your brain to believe in Jesus. You don't have to abandon your brain to believe in Jesus. Philosophically, there's a whole bunch of reasons to believe in God. The fact that you know the difference between right and wrong. Because the fact that you know murder's wrong.
Mark Clark [00:15:10]:
The fact that you know cheating on your spouse is wrong. The fact that you know cutting someone off in line is wrong. The fact that you know it's wrong to steal a baseball from a little child is wrong. All right. The fact that you know that begs the question, if you're an atheist, why evolution? Never would have taught you that. Never would have taught you that you can grab any baseball you want because it's good for your tribe. Doesn't matter. But the fact that you care, the fact that you get on social media and see justice and right and wrong, begs the question of why God? How you? How did you get there? And the only good explanation is God gave it to you.
Mark Clark [00:15:43]:
If there is such a thing as a moral law, there has to be a moral law giver. And there's a whole bunch of college students waking up to the fact that not only philosophically, but scientifically, biology is pointing to God, astronomy is pointing to God. You look at the cosmos, you look at the way the universe began. All of these things have happened. I mean, I was talking to someone after the Christmas Eve service last Christmas, and I was talking about the virgin birth of Jesus. And this guy walked up to me, he goes, I'm a scientist. I've been a professor for so many years at a college. I don't believe in this Jesus nonsense.
Mark Clark [00:16:14]:
A virgin birth of Jesus, that's scientifically not legitimate. And I said, oh, okay, sir, how did the universe come into existence? He said, it came out of nothing. And I said, oh, so I believe in the virgin birth of Jesus. You believe in the virgin birth of the universe? And he's like, what? We can follow the evidence and arrive at God? And this is what I mean. When I first became a Christian, I remember I would sit in garages with all my friends. And we would sit there and we would talk, and I gave my life to Jesus. And I was sitting there, and I remember everyone is laughing at me and saying, it's so stupid that you believe in God. Why are you doing.
Mark Clark [00:16:55]:
I can't believe. You've abandoned your mind. You've abandoned your mind. And I looked at him, I said, let me ask you a question. How do you know the difference between right and wrong? And they're like, well, you know, it's cultural. And I said, oh, it's cultural? Yeah. Whatever culture you exist within, that's what's right. And if you exist in a different culture, that's what's right.
Mark Clark [00:17:10]:
And I said, really? Okay, well, some cultures love their neighbors. Other cultures eat them. Do you have a preference? At which point, everyone in the garage looked at my friend that I was talking to, and she said, well, good point. I guess I couldn't say they'd done something decisively wrong if they killed and ate a bunch of people. And the whole garage laughed at her. Because we know that you can't live a life like that. And every time you do something like that, every time you feel this sense of justice, you gotta ask the question, why? And he says, here's the problem. They're darkened in their understanding and they're separated from the what? The life of God.
Mark Clark [00:17:55]:
Here is the beautiful thing. Here's the fundamental problem that you have. And I'm just gonna be dead honest with you, and I wanna give you an opportunity in a few minutes to respond to this basic idea. You are made in the image of God. It's a beautiful thing. But your problem is that you're separated from the life of God. You are sinful, meaning you are separated from God forever, and there's nothing you could do about it. And so what had to happen is Jesus Christ had to come and fill that gap, that separation between you and God.
Mark Clark [00:18:22]:
He had to come and fill it, and he did, by living a perfect life in your place, dying on a cross for your sin and rising from that death to give you life and offer it to you. That'll change everything about your life. It's the same thing I did when I was 17 years old and I was living a life like the Gentiles. I was living for myself. And I gave my life to Christ, and he changed everything about me. Listen, here's what FF Bruce says, a scholar in the New Testament. He says this. I love this.
Mark Clark [00:18:48]:
He says, the life which the believer receives as a gift from God. Listen this is very important, is God's own life. The reason you get power is because he gives you his own life. That's the point of the passage. You are separated from the life of God. You guys ever heard of Billy Graham before? Billy Graham in the 40s and the 50s, wanted to be a great evangelist. He wanted to lead people to Christ. And of course, he went on to do that with millions and millions of people.
Mark Clark [00:19:18]:
In fact, the only reason I'm up here right now is cause my grandfather, when he was 30 years old, went to a Billy Graham crusade and gave his life to Jesus. He's the only other Christian in my family. It's the only reason I'm up here right now is because of Billy Graham preaching to my grandfather. And here's the thing. Billy Graham, his first years were not successful. He would show up to a church, he would preach, and everyone would yawn and go home. And he went up to his friend one day and he said, please, I want the anointing of God in my life. And the friend said, okay, here's what we'll do.
Mark Clark [00:19:47]:
Every time you preach afterwards, we'll go to my house and we'll pray for the anointing of God. He was away for this UK trip and he's preaching at this church. So in the morning he'd preach and no one would come to Christ. And then he'd go to the cabin and he'd pray with his friend all day. And he'd go back and he'd preach at night. And he said he did this for four days in a row. And on the fourth night, he went to his friend's house and he went in and they started to pray. And Billy Graham says, I felt it in a moment.
Mark Clark [00:20:10]:
I felt the anointing of God fall on me. And the guy who was with him, he said he felt it too. And he said that night they went to the church and Billy Graham was not even halfway through his sermon yet. And half of the church was at the front of the church and the front of the altar giving their lives to Jesus. And the man looked at that and he went home and he said, the world will know the name of Billy Graham that day. Why? Because the life of God dropped on him. That's what every single one of us needs, is the life of God. It's more than just getting God in your life.
Mark Clark [00:20:45]:
You actually get the life of God. It's a beautiful thing. And here's what's happening in this next generation. The life of God has started to drop. And Change lives. I saw this video yesterday from Italy. All right, These are kids in Italy, in the streets. This is happening all over the world right now.
Mark Clark [00:21:15]:
Among college students, by the way, do you know that there was a Barna study that was done recently that said that the number one group that attends church the most is Gen Z. 18 to 28 is now attending church more than every generation above it. They are hungry for the what? The life. Here's what Jim Elliott said. Jim Elliott was a young guy. He went off in to tell people about Jesus and got killed for it. Here's what Jim Elliott said. I seek not a long life, Lord, but a full one like you, Lord Jesus.
Mark Clark [00:21:49]:
Wow. You know, Jesus lived till he was 33 years old, and he gave his life for the thing that he was doing. And Jim Elliott said, man, I'm young and I want to live a full life, maybe more so than a long life. This is the thing. This is what has started to happen all around the world as young people have started to go, I want the life of God. This is what Paul's talking about. And then he says, the problem is there's an ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. The reason people don't come to Jesus, the reason people deny the life of God is because they have hardened hearts.
Mark Clark [00:22:26]:
They almost don't want. Listen to me. It's almost that they don't want God to be true. So I remember a few years ago, my grandfather, I went back to Toronto, where I'm from, and my grandfather, my other grandfather, he'd been living alone for a bunch of years. And we called him up and he wasn't at home. And we're like, where is he? And we tracked down an address that he went to, and my brother and I went to visit him at this address. And we got there and we realized that these people had before and were totally scamming him. And they were basically just befriending him in his last few years before he died and they could get his money.
Mark Clark [00:23:03]:
And we said, how did this young couple start hanging out with you? How did they afford this house? And he's like, well, I bought it for them. And we're like, oh, no, these people have scammed our grandfather. And so we showed up and my brother and I were ready to set him free. We were just. We were gonna roll in there and just like break through the windows, come down on some of those strings, you know, grab and get out of there, you know. And we showed up to the front door and knocked on the door, and they opened the door and they said, would you like some tea? And we're like, sure. And we went in and we had some tea, and they were very nice people. And we started to hang out for a while.
Mark Clark [00:23:38]:
And then we went to our grandfather and we whispered. We said, grandfather, don't you understand these people, they got you. We're here to set you free. We're here to. And he just looked at me and he said, yeah, yeah, I know, but I'm fine. Don't worry about it. And we said, no, no, no, we're gonna. The truth will set you free.
Mark Clark [00:23:53]:
You see, they're scamming you. And he said, yeah, no, I'm fine. I don't wanna go anywhere. And I got in the car and I drove away and I looked at my brother and I said, listen to me. This guy's getting three meals a day. He has people in his life that talk to him. Yeah, he's getting scammed. But listen, some people don't wanna be free.
Mark Clark [00:24:14]:
Some people, the truth will mess up their situation. The truth will make it awkward. The truth will cost something. And some of you, you come in here and you're like, man, I'm looking for answers. And Jesus Christ is looking to you and go, I'll give you answers. Trust in me and that heaven that we talked about earlier, that can be yours, and nothing else in this life can give it to you. But some of us are like, I don't know, it might mess up my situation. Maybe my girlfriend won't talk to me anymore.
Mark Clark [00:24:47]:
My family will laugh at me. And the question is, do you want the truth to set you free or are you scared of it? And Paul says, this here's my great vision for you. He says, having lost all sensitivity, these are people who won't believe in God. They've given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they're full of greed. That, however, is not the way of life. You learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. And then he gives this great vision. You were taught with regard to your former way of life to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires, to be made new in the attitude of your minds and to put on the new self created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Mark Clark [00:25:31]:
Here's what God wants from you. He wants you to be new. How many of us know that new things are awesome? My wife knows it. Cause six times a day, the Amazon guy shows up. His name's Dave. We're all friends now. New things are awesome. But in order to get the new things, you gotta put off the old self.
Mark Clark [00:25:59]:
You gotta embrace the new things. Because the old things are no longer what are gonna give you life. This is the very simple reality that Jesus Christ came to offer each one of us. The old things, the old way of life where you're the only one that matters. How many of you have kids? Remember how awesome it was before you had them? I remember it. I could just do whatever I wanted. Now I have three daughters. I can't even just.
Mark Clark [00:26:25]:
I just try to go ahead. And the more I used to be able to just walk around in my boxers, just do whatever I wanted. Turn on the tv, sit there. Now, dad. Yeah. The old life, man, it's freeing. It's liberating, it's awesome. And it's all about you.
Mark Clark [00:26:45]:
And then Jesus says, I'll give you a new life. I'll give you new affections. I'll give you new beautiful things. But when I do it, it's gonna cause some stuff. Are you ready for that? It's gonna cause some things. So I remember years ago, this Christian school asked me to come and preach at their camp. That they did. So this private Christian school, all these Christian kids go up to this summer camp, and they're sitting there and they asked me to come and preach.
Mark Clark [00:27:14]:
And every night that I preached about Jesus and gave the gospel, here's what would happen. A kid would come up to me after, and they'd say, mark, I'm looking at things on the Internet that I should not be looking at. And then the next night, a kid would come up and he'd go, man, I gotta tell you something, man. I got demonic activity in my life. And the next night, I remember the third night, there was a lineup of kids, and they came up and they go, I'm doing this. I'm smoking weed. I'm doing this. I'm doing all these.
Mark Clark [00:27:39]:
And they talked to me about this long laundry list of things in their life. And it was just. I was looking at all these kids. I'm like, this room is just full of these kids, these sins and things that they're secretly doing that nobody knows about. And I remember thinking to myself on the drive home, there's one of two ways you can think about that. You can either say to yourself, how did all these kids get into that Christian school? Or you can say, when the kingdom of God drops. All the mess starts to rise to the surface. When the gospel really goes out and starts to change people's lives, you start to come in contact with the life of God.
Mark Clark [00:28:35]:
And he starts to say, I'm going to put my finger on that thing, and you need to get rid of it. But don't worry, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I'm gonna give you the power to be a new self. A self that can wake up in the morning knowing exactly where you're going when your life is over. If anything, this week, we gotta understand life is very fragile and it can be very short, and tomorrow is not guaranteed. But if you've trusted in Jesus, heaven is. So I want all of us to just close our eyes in this moment, and I want to give you an opportunity to receive this gift of salvation and eternal life. Like I did when I was 17 years old and a guy came to my high school class and told me about Jesus, and I turned away from my old life and I gave my life to Jesus.
Mark Clark [00:29:27]:
I would not want to leave this room without giving you the opportunity to do that. So here's what Jesus says. If you believe in him as Lord and Savior, if you trust that he died for your sin and rose again, he will give you eternal life as a free gift. And what you need to do is simply believe. And so I'm gonna pray. And if that is you looking to be secure in Jesus, to begin a relationship with Jesus, just pray this prayer after me, even just to yourself. Lord Jesus, I know that I'm made in the image of God, but that I'm a sinner. I trust and believe in my heart that you came and died for my sin as my substitute and rose again from death to give me life.
Mark Clark [00:30:27]:
And that this salvation, this new self, is a gift of grace. And in this moment, I receive that gift. I receive you, Jesus, the life of God into my life right now. Transform me. If that is you wanting that assurance. I'm just gonna ask you. I'm not gonna ask you to stand up and come forward or anything like that. I'm just gonna ask you to raise your hand up on the count of three.
Mark Clark [00:31:05]:
1, 2, 3. Raise up your hand if that is you in this moment. Yeah, keep your hand up. Hands are going up all over this room, guys, of people saying, this is the life that I want to live for Jesus. Thank you, Father. I pray for each hand raised here today. People showed up here wondering what you had for them, and you're touching hearts and minds all around this room saying, I can't just go on with my life. Tomorrow can't just be another Monday.
Mark Clark [00:31:41]:
It has to be the start of something, a new self living for you. And I pray that that's true about every person in here. They would live with the life and the hope of you in them and that they would offer it to everyone around them who in this moment is asking really big questions. In Jesus powerful name we pray. Amen.
